About TEFL Heaven
TEFL Heaven is a division of Experience Teaching Abroad Ltd (ETA). We are a UK limited company registered in England and Wales.
We specialise in sending great people to fill our teaching positions in Thailand, whether through our TEFL Internships or our Volunteer Teaching Projects.
Since 2007 ETA has assisted university graduates and non-graduates to secure quality teaching placements abroad. We pride ourselves on being a small company and a Social Enterprise. We know the names of recruits, not the numbers! We aim to provide the best value for money, with the most amazing packages.
Social Enterprise UK
Experience Teaching Abroad Ltd is a member of Social Enterprise UK, the UK national body for Social Enterprises. With our membership we hope to support other Social Enterprises in the UK and abroad, as well as the concept of Social Enterprise in general, which we beleive is "working not for profits alone, but for the good of the human race".
TEFL Heaven Projects
TEFL Heaven consists of ETA and their partner organisations in Thailand. ETA deals mainly with the recruitment for each TEFL Heaven program and works with TEFL organisations and teaching agencies, employers and schools in Thailand in order to perform each TEFL program. TEFL Heaven programs consist of TEFL training and certification and then a teaching job afterwards.
It’s important to note that the “TEFL Heaven Team” may consist of members of ETA or staff from our partners.
ETA's Mission
Being a Social Enterprise means we are not all about profits alone - we are in business to do good in this world. What's the point in being in business for anything else? Our main goals are social goals, which are:
- To promote and provide work experiences, cultural experiences and life experience to young people aged 18 - 35.
- To promote and provide teacher-training courses to enable greater transferable employability skills for young people aged 18 - 35, whether they progress to a career in teaching or other careers.
- To contribute towards the development and training of people of all ages, in emerging economies, in the development of the English language, and most especially with children aged 3 - 18 years old.
We accomplish our goals through our two programs - TEFL Internships and Summer Volunteer Teaching Projects. We have had the joy of seeing over 200 people go through our programs over the past 2 years and grow in confidence and experience. We will continue to seek to bring Thailand and it's people to the lives of young people, and assist them in growing in confidence to be who they want to be.
