Synopsis of the TEFL Internships Program
If you are new to the TEFL industry or you would like appropriate training before launching into TEFL teaching then a completing a TEFL Internship may be for you. A TEFL Internship will break you in gently to Thailand and to teaching English and build your confidence before being put before real children as a responsible teacher. One of the biggest benefits is that you train with around another 20 or so like-minded people in an area of the world that radiates with cultural potency and attractiveness – Thailand!
Our internships always start with full 120 hour TEFL Certificates, meaning after completion you are qualified to teach English anywhere in the world – it’s your ticket to travel. TEFL Heaven is so named because training usually begins on a paradise island or beach in Thailand, meaning that you not only are trained suitably in TEFL but you can thoroughly enjoy your training and first few weeks in Thailand in paradisiacal bliss.
After being trained in TEFL the real teaching begins! You will be given a paid teaching placement which could be anywhere in Thailand. Native English teachers populate every province so you should never be the only English speaker around. Teaching jobs are for around 4 or 5 months and can be in either primary or secondary schools.
We guide you well beforehand with everything you need to know and do in preparation, monitor your progress in preparation (we're tight like that!) and then meet you at the airport to make sure you know exactly where to go and what you need to do. Then we give you as much ammunition as possible in dealing with TEFL teaching in the months to come. With our training and support in the first few weeks of 
your time in Thailand you will be well prepared for the rest of your teaching journey!
